Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Work Transfer Manager to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Work Transfer Manager, you will play a critical role in managing work transfer activity between our UK suppliers and suppliers based in Lower Cost Economies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Engineering, and other business functions to ensure seamless product/part manufacturing knowledge transfer to in-region teams.
  • Support visits from LCE suppliers for business reviews, technical assessments, and other critical activities.
  • Work closely with in-region teams to ensure supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness, and first article flow plans are robust and in place to deliver projects in compliance with customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the improvement of supply chain processes throughout the business.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Business Management or a related field (ideally Supply Chain) or Engineering.
  • CIPS or APICS qualified (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Planning concepts.
  • Proven experience in project management with a track record of successful project completion.
