About the Role

Premier Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of heavy engineering equipment.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced maintenance professionals to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our client. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation of rides.
  2. Initiating daily activities to support PPM and reactive maintenance across rides, working closely with the Operations Team.
  3. Staying up-to-date with ride manuals to understand maintenance requirements.
  4. Cleanliness and organization of workshops, plantrooms, and other areas associated with maintenance.
  5. Inspecting tools and equipment regularly and addressing any issues promptly.
  6. Ensuring that all remedial items are addressed in a timely manner and that sufficient spares are held in stock to minimize downtime.
  7. Maintaining standard of works carried out, monitoring, and auditing to address any concerns identified.
  8. Improving communication within the team through assessing and implementing processes.
  9. Suggesting necessary training within the team as required by the Team Manager.
  10. Using the management system (Mobaro) to identify trends, produce reports, and carry out periodic inspection and testing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A good understanding of fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Previous experience in stringent maintenance processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our client offers a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.
