Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at KP Snacks in the UK. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and maintenance engineering service to sustain and improve production operating efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience gained within a food manufacturing environment and hold a City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering. Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Job Description
  • Repair and maintain production and ancillary equipment, property, and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with production requirements.
  • Create PPM schedules, maintain accurate maintenance records, and complete data entry records within specified timescales.
  • Act as host for contractors working on site, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and completed, and safe working practices are agreed prior to commencement of work.
  • Respond to requests from production and maintenance leads for engineering assistance, monitoring visual management boards to prioritize tasks.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve their knowledge and capability of equipment.
