Procurement Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement?

As a Procurement Specialist at Reed, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective purchasing of materials. Your responsibilities will include evaluating Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to coordinate purchasing strategies, reviewing MRP exceptions to identify and mitigate risks, and communicating price and lead time variations to the Procurement Team.

Key skills and qualifications include:
  • CIPS qualification or relevant experience in procurement
  • Strong mathematical and Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective communication skills, including a good telephone manner
  • Experience with Sage software is preferable

  • Attend and contribute to Demand, Planning, and Marketing meetings to ensure accurate MRP evaluations
