We're seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at APEX APPOINT LTD. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, contributing to exciting projects, and enhancing product quality in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Introduce new parts into manufacturing processes, including documentation, tooling, and procedures.
  2. Support and maintain legacy manufacturing environments, continuously seeking process improvements.
  3. Work collaboratively in a multifunctional team to meet business goals and drive production efficiency.
  4. Lead efforts in reviewing and improving manufacturing processes for both current and new parts, including creating Bill of Materials (BOMs) for make-to-print orders.
  5. Participate in solving production process issues through investigation and root-cause analysis.
  6. Ensure that production processes comply with safety standards and optimize material and personnel usage.
  7. Design, test, and manage new tooling solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives like PFMEA.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education & Experience: Level 3 in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience), with over 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in PFMEA and control plans. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 3D drawing packages. Familiarity with processes like machining, thin film coating, and plating is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Results-oriented with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
