Job Summary

As a Release Management Specialist at BT Group, you will be responsible for owning and implementing the agreed Release strategy within Technology Labs. This involves defining release milestones, establishing clear timelines, and ensuring alignment with project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the release process, coordinating the deployment of software updates and new features.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential release issues.
  • Work with the Labs Environment managers to control scope and prevent unauthorized changes during release cycles.
  • Maintain version control and documentation of changes throughout the release cycle.

Requirements

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Working knowledge & full understanding of project frameworks, methodologies and standards.
  • Aware of risk management methodologies, including the identification, assessment and management of environment delivery risks.
  • Professional Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2, Agile.

Flexible Working

This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
