Job Title: Senior Technical Support Engineer

Fujifilm Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Assistance Center (TAC), you will provide remote technical support to our customers, focusing on complex issues related to our Synapse products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or remote desktop sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Synapse products, including hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Collaborate with peers and other team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document cases throughout the troubleshooting process and maintain accurate records.
  • Escalate cases to the next level of support when necessary, following the TAC escalation process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • One or more industry-specific certifications in relevant technical background (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco certifications preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, networking, SQL Server, and/or Oracle.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent phone manner.
  • Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FUJIFILM Synapse Administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of Synapse workflows and their implementations.
  • Knowledge of clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM)
Physical Requirements:

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • The ability to sit up to 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
Travel:

Occasional (up to 10%) travel may be required based on business need.
