Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Clinical Manager to join our team at St David's. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to our Registered Nurses, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to our nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
  • Act as a Shift Team Leader, overseeing the day-to-day care of residents and delegating tasks as required.
  • Contribute to the development of our care staff, providing training and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and audit our services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Assist the Home Manager with formal supervisions and appraisals, ensuring that all staff members receive regular feedback and support.

  • A strong background in clinical leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A current NMC pin and up-to-date professional development.
