We're excited to announce an exclusive recruitment partnership with a leading manufacturing business in Cornwall, seeking a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join their team.

About the Role

This is a broad and interesting opportunity to work closely with an experienced Management Accountant and ultimately report to the Senior Management Accountant. You'll liaise with colleagues in multiple areas of the business and support other members of the finance team.

  • Prepare monthly management accounting and reporting
  • Maintain nominal ledger accounts
  • Analyze overhead spending
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Assist all members of the finance team
  • Process transactions and journal entries
  • Post prepayment and accruals

We're looking for a candidate with at least 18 months of recently gained general finance experience, ideally gained with a manufacturing business. AAT qualification, working towards a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or relevant vocational experience (QBE) is preferred. Strong MS Excel skills and a strong aptitude for grasping modern accounting ERPs are essential.
