We are Weare5vtech, a dynamic technology company based in Brussels, Belgium. We are currently looking for a skilled Enterprise Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in test automation methodologies and experience with software development lifecycle methodologies. They will be responsible for automating efficiency, uncovering security vulnerabilities, and ensuring seamless integration of testing efforts within the development lifecycle.

As an Enterprise Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Weare5vtech, you can expect a competitive salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automating Efficiency: Build and execute test automation scripts with tools like Selenium and Soap UI to streamline the testing process.
  • Uncovering Security Vulnerabilities: Leverage your knowledge of OWASP Top Ten to identify and report web application security risks.
  • Seamless Integration: Collaborate with developers to guarantee seamless integration of your testing efforts within the development lifecycle (Atlassian ALM tools).

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an Information System Tester (12+ years with a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years with a Master's degree).
  2. Strong foundation in test automation methodologies.
  3. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identify and resolve software defects.
  4. Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Atlassian ALM preferred).
  5. Understanding of Project Management frameworks (PM2 and PM2 Agile is a plus).
  6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Kanban and Scrum).
  7. Bonus points for proficiency in Git, GitHub, Docker, Continuous Integration, and IDEs (Visual Studio, JetBrains).
