As a Pension Fund Expert, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to the Pensions Manager on key statutory projects. You will work closely with the Administration & Communications team to ensure that outputs from our Third-Party Pensions Administrator (TPA), Capita, are integrated with the Pension Fund and aligned with our Administration Strategy.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and a strong understanding of LGPS regulations and pensions administration. They will be able to explain complex pensions issues in an accessible and understandable way, both to members and Scheme employers.

**Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

This role involves working on Finance, Investments, Administration, and Governance tasks, which require strong analytical, written, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
