Quality Manager Job Description

Arch Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join their team in Coventry. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's ISO9000 Quality and Health & Safety functions are maintained and implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and maintain the company's Quality and H&S systems, ensuring compliance with relevant processes and legislation.
  2. Work closely with Directors, Section Managers, and Staff to ensure the practical and pragmatic application of Quality and H&S systems.
  3. Implement and manage Quality and H&S processes, business expenditure, personnel issues, and site housekeeping as assigned by the Board.
  4. Conduct and maintain internal quality audits.
  5. Manage the quality inspector on site.
  6. Manage and maintain safety-related issues and records, including COSHH, LOLER, SEMA First Aid, health screening, PATS testing, equipment inspection, and calibration.
  7. Manage the building and facility, including arranging repairs and maintenance, security system functionality, and fire alarm system functionality.
  8. Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality and certification-related issues.
  9. Arrange necessary training courses and maintain training records.
  10. In the absence of the Quality Inspector, handle goods inward and final inspection duties.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in a management role.
  2. Background in Quality Inspection.
  3. Experience completing Quality and Health & Safety Audits.
