The Governance and Assurance Team at Forces Families Jobs is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Coventry.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver a risk-based, layered internal audit programme covering ISO 9001 clauses, core business processes, and projects.
  2. Lead liaison for third-party certification bodies, collaborating with external auditors on planning for the certification cycle and managing the assurance portal.
  3. Ensure the company's Quality Policy is fit-for-purpose and that the scope and boundaries of the QMS are well defined.
  4. Work with departments and process owners to ensure the company's business management system is current, relevant, and accessible, and that documented information is suitable and proportionate.
  5. Work with action owners to ensure corrective actions are suitably planned, manage escalations, and provide support and coaching.
  6. Identify and recommend improvements to processes, policies, or procedures based on practical/operational experience, feedback from colleagues, or insights from customers.
  7. Innovate the company's 'Business Management System' working with adjacent departments and CI to accomplish this.
  8. Professional Quality Certification such as CQI/ASQ.
  9. Ability to work in a matrix management structure, embedded in a dynamic R+D environment.
  10. Expert in the practices of Quality Management and its application.
  11. Good numeracy skills: confident working with numbers and data.
