About the Role

The Graduate Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons, contributing to the academic success of pupils. The successful candidate will also work closely with students who require additional support, such as those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a First Class or 2:1 degree in any subject, preferably core subjects. Previous experience working with children, either professionally or personally, is highly desirable. Aspiring teachers looking to start Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are particularly encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions and Benefits

The Graduate Teaching Assistant will work on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility depending on school needs. Casual dress code is permitted, and the location offers excellent transport links. Additionally, the successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £85-£110 per day.
