Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Humanities Teacher to join our academic team at Academics Ltd in Shenfield. This is a full-time, long-term supply role with the possibility of permanent employment.

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching the UK curriculum. They will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring and supporting them in their understanding of history, geography, and social studies topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality humanities lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the humanities department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking among students.
  • Contribute to the positive school community and uphold the ethos of our school.

Salary: Competitive pay aligned with the Outer London Teachers' Pay Scale (£40,000 - £60,000 per annum), plus additional benefits.
