Role Overview


This part-time Consumer Insights Manager role supports the Head of Consumer Insights & Strategy in enterprise-wide projects ensuring consumers are at the heart of all marketing decision-making.


You would be driving the voice of consumers by developing meaningful insights for our brands and business decisions. This includes identifying, commissioning, managing & reporting insights projects across multiple methodologies.


The successful candidate will work 20 hours a week and will be responsible for championing and promoting consumer-first values within their marketing team.


Key Responsibilities



  • Be the voice of the consumer for your marketing team, effectively managing quantitative/qualitative/desk research studies (both on-going and ad-hoc), including issue identification, briefing, results facilitation, and embedding insights into strategy across the brands in your care.
  • Analyze and synthesize learnings from research, drawing strategic conclusions, and recommendations that are meaningful to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and present research insights from multiple data sources effectively to relevant cross-functional stakeholders in an impactful and engaging way.
  • Work with brand teams on project success criteria and post-evaluate marketing activities to measure impact.
  • Manage facets of the Insights budget to ensure maximum impact while optimizing outcomes.
  • Engage key stakeholders with thought leadership pieces relevant to our business.
  • Support Sensory work for your team.

About You


To succeed in this role, you will have:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field, ideally in packaged goods environments and/or within Insights teams.
  • A background in consumer/market research, sensory research, consumer insights, or marketing.
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for consumer behavior, with the ability to understand what drives people and think strategically.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage tight timelines and analyze data to make recommendations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
