The Assistant Project Manager is a key member of our project management team, responsible for assisting and supporting senior project managers and project directors in representing Roeslein & Associates in all matters involving project development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and formalizing project scopes of work, detailed schedules, cost budgets, pricing, and terms of customer contracts for multiple projects.
- Support and implement assigned projects within defined project parameters, ensuring all expenditures correspond with estimated costs.
- Coordinate input from project resource groups, including engineering, technology, fabrication, shipping, and construction resources.
- Provide regular updates and distribution of project control documents, maintaining all deadlines established with the customer and project team.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support project activities, maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building/Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in a technically related field, preferably as a Project Engineer, resident Construction Engineer, or Project Coordinator.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs, including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or registered Professional Engineer (P.E) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The work environment is office-based, with occasional travel to project sites. The physical demands of the job include regular walking, standing, and use of hands and fingers, with the ability to lift and carry 10 pounds on a regular basis.
