About the Role

This is a permanent role with a competitive salary package, including a car allowance, based on experience. As a Supply Chain Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for leading and supporting projects/business units in achieving best-in-class procurement services. You will engage with the supply chain on a vertical basis to deliver enhanced value to each project/business unit and contribute to the business's pursuit of exceeding client and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement procurement plans as directed by the pillar procurement leader/senior procurement lead.
  • Lead/support project or business unit teams in delivering business procurement objectives and requirements.
  • Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance management feedback to Central Procurement and Work Winning.
  • Support teams of procurement professionals, including training and development, staff appraisals, retention and reward, and recruitment.
  • Be responsible and accountable for the procurement process of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services, in accordance with the Project Procurement Strategy and Values.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within the construction industry and demonstrated knowledge of interfaces and relationships.
  • Able to manage, plan, and structure operational procurement resources of mixed experience and capability.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience providing support to work winning and delivering procurement strategies.
  • Demonstrable added value through procurement activity.
