Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounts Administrator to join our team in Newcastle Under Lyme. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing payroll, managing debt recovery, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Raising customer quotations and invoices using Sage
  2. Managing customer accounts, including billing queries and updating records
  3. Maintaining accurate financial records, including bank reconciliations and VAT returns
  4. Processing end-to-end monthly payroll, including updating Sage Line 50 and paying wages via online banking
  5. Liaising with HMRC and the company's pension provider
  6. Managing staff expenses and maintaining the company's bank account

Requirements:

  • Proven accounting or bookkeeping background, ideally with experience of Sage
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage own workload
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
