About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with businesses of all sizes to build commercial relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a live portfolio of customers, with a focus on increasing profit and revenue growth.
  • Re-activate lapsed customer relationships to increase sales opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the internal sales team to maximize opportunities and create growth.
  • Be an ambassador of the Company, providing excellent customer service and portraying a professional image at all times.
  • Take ownership of cashflow and profitability of customers, working closely with the internal sales support team to achieve this.
Requirements
  • Experience in project sales, account management, and project management.
  • Passionate and energetic with a generative leadership style.
  • Driven, proactive, and ambitious with the ability to encourage these behaviours in others.
  • A strong commercial acumen with a track record of developing relationships with a wide variety of clients.
  • Strong track record of success building excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly articulate and a clear communicator.
  • Flexible and agile, able to adapt to the needs of the business.
