Job Title: Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer

Leading Global Automotive Technology Company Seeks Experienced Engineer

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our growing team in Cambridge. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge chassis control products.

About the Role:

  • You will lead architectural development of electronic systems for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
  • You will design and implement complex circuits, including H-bridges, MOSFET Switches, and various communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • You will own the full product development life cycle from concept through to production, including verification and validation.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver innovative solutions.
  • You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in electronic hardware design and Embedded systems.
  • Strong expertise in circuit design, particularly with automotive microcontrollers and power electronics.
  • Proven track record in taking designs from architecture through to production.
  • Experience with automotive safety standards and functionally safe hardware development.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer and SPICE simulation tools.
  • Experience with EMC, environmental testing, and design for manufacture.
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
