Job SummaryThe Sourcing Expert - Injection Mold and CNC Machining will be responsible for growing and managing our supplier network, client quoting, supplier selection and onboarding, supplier sourcing, production planning, and supporting on-time order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities- Client Quoting: Provide accurate and competitive quotes to clients for injection mold and CNC machining services.
- Supplier Sourcing: Identify and qualify new suppliers for injection mold and CNC machining services.
- Production Planning: Plan and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Supplier Management: Grow and manage our supplier network to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CAD proficiency and knowledge of injection mold/CNC design and fabrication methods.
- Experience communicating design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback and costing.
- Understanding of injection molding and CNC machining technologies.
- Knowledge of gate strategies, mold-flow, single and family cavity molds, over molding, and custom tooling.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Experience with sourcing tooling and finishes.
- Cost estimating experience for prototype, low volume, and high-volume quantities.
- English level: B2 or higher.
