About the Role

At SkyCare Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our 80-bed nursing home in Bradford. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to residents, assessing their needs and developing individualised care plans
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Oversee the administration of medication, ensuring that it is done safely and effectively
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures
  • Participate in the recruitment and induction of new staff members
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Working Hours

The successful candidate will be required to work a 36-hour week, including day and night shifts, with a 12-hour shift pattern. Weekend availability is also required.

Location

The nursing home is located in the Bradford area, BD3, and is easily accessible by public transport.
