Job SummaryWe are seeking a Production Operative to join our team in Bristol, where we are the UK's leading producer of Chilled Sauces & Soups. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards, operating production lines, and working with innovative machinery and automated plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the production area
- Operate production lines and machinery to produce high-quality products
- Work with automated plant equipment to ensure efficient production processes
- Identify and champion initiatives in health & safety, quality, operating processes, and hygiene
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards
- A good level of English and Maths
- Able to work a 4 on 4 off Days - 6:00am-6:00pm
- Experience in a similar role within FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
- Ideal experience in a food manufacturing environment, but not essential
- Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others
- A good attention to detail with a firm focus on Quality and Health & Safety
- Able to adapt well to change and undertake a variety of activities across our operation
- Demonstrating teamwork and communicating effectively developing relationships with team members and other teams across the site
