About the Role

As a Shop Support Manager at Save the Children, you will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and supporting the Shop Manager in empowering the volunteer team to drive the shop forward. You will be responsible for providing key operational support on defined areas, working closely with the Shop Manager to understand the shop, community, and proposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of the shop's potential
• Ensure operational excellence and embed best practice ways of working
• Support the Shop Manager in empowering the volunteer team
• Lead the shop in the Shop Manager's absence

About You

We are looking for someone with proven retail skills, who understands the importance of teamwork. You will bring:

• Retail or charity retail experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• A flexible, positive, and resilient attitude
• Results-driven approach with experience of working to targets
• Experience and confidence using a range of IT platforms

Ways of Working

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there may be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office. This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team. We are happy to discuss flexible working options at interview.
