About the Role

  1. The post-holder will develop and demonstrate proficiency in their knowledge, expertise, and operational effectiveness in rotational areas, including but not limited to, Acute & Emergency Admissions, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Education & Training, Formulary Management & Medicines Optimisation, Operational Management & Leadership, Medicine Directorate, Medicines Information, Paediatrics, and Surgery Directorate & ITU.
  2. The post-holder will assist in developing the specialist clinical pharmacy service to wards within their rotational area, in line with local and national standards and policies, ensuring the safe, clinical, and cost-effective use of medicines and staff resources.
  3. The post-holder will provide a specialised level of pharmaceutical care to patients and will support other healthcare staff in the safe and appropriate use of medicines.

  1. Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and patients.
  2. Able to provide specialised advice on the use of medicines to treat patients within a specialist area.
  3. Able to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  4. Able to prioritise and manage workload.

Salary Details

">

This role comes with an estimated annual salary of £65,000-£85,000 depending on experience and qualifications. The actual salary may vary based on individual circumstances. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes pension, life insurance, and generous holiday allowance.
