Our client, a leader in the aviation sector, is looking for an Operations Specialist to enhance their operations team. This organization is renowned for providing exceptional service to high-profile clients across the globe.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and innovative professional who can contribute to the success of the Operations / Flight Management team and help achieve the company's strategic goals.
As the main liaison for clients, you will handle flight requests and respond to inquiries regarding various aspects of the travel experience. You will also support our internal team of aviation brokers.
The successful applicant will have a strong customer service orientation, be results-driven, and have a genuine interest in aviation. Outstanding organizational abilities are essential, and you should enjoy working collaboratively within a team. This role requires flexibility to work on-call hours as needed. Ultimately, your contributions will enhance customer satisfaction and help meet operational and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all aspects of flight operations following a confirmed sale.
- Oversee charter trip logistics, coordinating with external partners such as aircraft operators, handling companies, and transportation services.
- Proactively inform clients about operational challenges (e.g., weather, permits) and suggest alternative solutions.
- Arrange and monitor additional services requested by clients, such as ground transportation.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding their flight details to align expectations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong relationships and encourage client loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operations role, ideally within the aviation industry or with high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Zoho.
- Ability to manage challenging situations while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Proactive, service-oriented, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, with advanced spelling and grammar skills for effective communication.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in the aviation sector is desirable but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with European aviation regulations.
- Proficiency in a European language is a plus.
