Job Summary:

As a Principal Engineer – Pre-Operations, you will be responsible for managing members of the asset integration team and delivering complex work scopes. This is a challenging opportunity to lead our asset integration team and drive the integration of significant infrastructure expansion into our business.

About the Team:

The Asset Integration Team is responsible for integrating new assets and infrastructure into business management systems and implementing post-handover asset management arrangements. We offer relocation support across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset integration strategies and through-life management plans for major site and infrastructure projects.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including project teams and end-users, to ensure seamless integration of new assets and infrastructure.
  • Responsible for integrating new assets and infrastructure into business management systems and implementing post-handover asset management arrangements.
  • Produce and validate working-level instructions to support operations, maintenance, and asset management activities.
  • Derive and develop operations, maintenance, and asset management strategies to optimize performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in a STEM subject or equivalent engineering, maintenance, or operational experience.
  • Familiarity with Asset Management principles and best practices.
  • Significant experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering projects on time.
  • Ability to produce and validate high-quality working-level instructions.
  • Desirable: Experience of project transitions to operations and basic understanding of asset management.
