About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with management to develop contractors and develop new business projects commercially, technically, and operationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of business plans to identify opportunities for the operations on the project.
  • Obtaining labour, materials, and subcontractors in accordance with the company's buying procedures to minimize cost and waste.
  • Developing in-house technicians in accordance with the needs of the project in a cost-effective manner.
  • Management of staff and subcontractors.
  • Awareness of statutory health and safety and CDM regulations.
  • Monthly report for contract managers detailing the project's activity.

About the Person:

We are looking for an experienced individual with knowledge of facilities and hard services, as well as planning methods, cost management, health and safety, and CDM regulations. A valid driving license is also required. The successful candidate will need to gain security clearance and DBS (SC supported by the company).
