We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance and safety best practices to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver training and safety workshops to employees and clients to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures to minimize the risk of future occurrences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and legislation to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice.
- Effectively manage client relationships to ensure compliance and deliver services in line with agreed service level agreements.
- Provide health and safety advice to clients, ensuring that solutions are commercially practical and offer best practice.
- Undertake ad-hoc consultancy tasks, including risk assessments at client sites, such as fire risk assessments and DSE assessments.
- Develop and implement health and safety training programs to meet client needs.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in health and safety consulting or management.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Fire Risk Assessment certificate is essential.
- Ability to engage and develop relationships remotely and adapt support at all levels of organisational hierarchy.
- Ability to analyse and interrogate available information from a health and safety perspective to identify risks and provide solutions.
