Job Title: Air & Road Freight Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Air & Road Freight Account Manager to join our team at Specialist Recruitment Solutions Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing key client shipments, maintaining relationships with current clients, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key client shipments, from quoting, booking, collecting, delivery, and customs paperwork
  • Manage your portfolio of work, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services
  • Regularly contact clients via team calls to discuss their needs and provide updates on shipments
  • Upsell to current clients, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and grow the business
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in a freight forwarding background, specializing in air and road freight
  • Experience with Cargowise/Sequoia/CDS is highly desirable
  • A high level of customer service is essential, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the business
  • Ability to cope and work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
