Job Summary
The Global Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer will support the PEAS country level Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) teams in achieving their learning objectives related to delivering technical assistance to non-PEAS partner schools. This role is part of the Global Technical Team, contributing to the team's primary objectives to enhance the effectiveness and impact of the organization's initiatives across Uganda, Zambia, and Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the MEL teams in fulfilling their learning objectives, focusing on delivering technical assistance to non-PEAS partner schools.
- Contribute to the Global Technical Team's objectives, enhancing the efficacy and impact of the organization's initiatives.
- Collaborate with data analysts to ensure accurate and timely data analysis, informing strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including institutional donors, to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and support to members of the global MEL team, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, preferably in education programmes in low-resource settings.
- Proven track record of fulfilling institutional donor requirements, ideally including USAID and/or FCDO.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
- Highly experienced in working with data, with strong data analysis skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
