Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Capital Improvement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on capital expenditure, ensuring that our spending aligns with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leads to ensure effective delivery of capital programs through insightful analysis and challenge.
- Lead on month-end reporting for key business areas and provide regular forecasts and budgets.
- Support the development of our capital delivery management information strategy by leading on projects to drive improvements in reporting.
- Facilitate the production of robust forecasts for CAPEX, IRE, and OPEX.
- Provide analysis and insight on monthly, annual, and AMP performance against targets on outputs and finances, driving action within delivery areas where activity is off track.
- Support continuous improvement of all capital performance and regulatory reporting to drive business delivery of strategic objectives.
- Robustly challenge departmental forecasts to ensure credibility and deliverability, challenge existing practices, and identify opportunities to improve performance and drive efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Financial qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) and experience of understanding performance and driving improvements.
- Demonstrable track record of taking the lead in diagnosing business issues and delivering performance improvements.
