About Penderels Trust
We are a leading organization dedicated to providing support and assistance to individuals in accessing social and after-school activities.
About the Role- Provide support and assistance with personal care tasks such as toileting, showering, getting dressed, and mobility.
- Assist in transporting individuals to school, work, social activities, and sporting events.
- Encourage socialization and participation in various activities.
Tasks may vary depending on the individual's needs. Employees are also expected to report any accidents or hazards promptly.
The role requires a valid driving license to operate the organization's vehicle for transportation purposes. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Required Skills- Honest, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Patient, supportive, and empathetic qualities.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to provide non-judgemental emotional support.
- Interest in assisting individuals with disabilities/illness to reach their goals.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the individuals.
Successful candidates will receive necessary training including Moving and Handling by Penderels Trust.
