Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced New Business Account Handler to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, developing relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth in the motor trade insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business leads through effective marketing and sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities and increase revenue.
- Work closely with the Account Executive to ensure a strategic approach to winning new business.
- Conduct market research to establish competitive terms and ensure premiums are collected in line with procedures.
- Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on Acturis and utilize the diary system effectively.
- Produce high-quality, professional documentation using relevant Howden templates.
- Cross-sell products from other divisions to increase revenue and drive growth.
- Refer complex queries to senior staff for guidance and support.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market.
- Cert CII qualification.
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of all main classes of General Insurance and the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
- Knowledge of motor trade insurance or High Net Worth within motor insurance is desirable.
- Acturis Knowledge is preferred.
Working Environment:
- Based in our Maidstone office, with occasional travel for client visits, off-site training, and meetings.
