Lead Digital Transformation at Exeter City Council

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive digital transformation and enhance data usage across our organization.

As Head of Digital Services, you will oversee the management and continuous improvement of key areas including data governance, business intelligence, ICT, GDPR, and digital platforms.

You will work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, customers, and political leadership to drive digital transformation, enhance data usage, and support the Council's Digital Customer Strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team, manage substantial budgets, and deliver customer-centric, data-driven services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a digital transformation strategy that aligns with the Council's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the management of data governance, business intelligence, ICT, GDPR, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, customers, and political leadership to drive digital transformation and enhance data usage.
  • Lead a high-performing team and manage substantial budgets to deliver customer-centric, data-driven services.

  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, business intelligence, ICT, GDPR, and digital platforms.
