We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Collins House, our Care Home in Corringham. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Our Community Homecare team provides care and support to clients in their own homes, and we are looking for a Support Worker to join our team. You will work alongside experienced staff to deliver person-centered care, promoting the independence and well-being of our clients.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as dementia care, challenging behaviors, and manual handling. We offer a comprehensive training program, including the Care Certificate, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes or in our Care Home
  • Work alongside experienced staff to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment

Requirements:

  • Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (for working in the Community)
  • Enhanced DBS check for Adults (at enhanced plus barred list level)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early and late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Knowledge of dementia care, challenging behaviors, and manual handling
  • Professional attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
