About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Barista to join our team as a Barista Maestro. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in coffee preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of team members.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of coffee and other beverages.
  • Ensure all equipment and equipment is clean and well-maintained.
  • Monitor and maintain the appearance of the store and ensure it meets company standards.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the management of cash handling and banking procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
  • Contribute to the development of sales and customer service strategies.
  • Maintain a positive and motivating team environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role or as a senior team member.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in coffee preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
