Job Title: Learning Assistant and Wraparound Care

We are seeking an experienced Learning Assistant to provide support in the classroom and for wraparound care from 2.30pm - 5.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Student Supervision: Provide supervision and support to students in the classroom and during wraparound care.
  • Activity Support: Assist with a range of activities, including homework assistance, to support student learning and development.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
  • Behavior Management: Support students in managing their behavior and developing positive relationships with peers and staff.
  • Safety and Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, including maintaining up-to-date DBS clearance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Experience in supporting a range of activities, including homework assistance, is beneficial.
