Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ambulatory Equine Vet to join our team at Endell Equine Hospital in Salisbury. As a key member of our ambulatory team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality equine veterinary care to horses in the Wiltshire, Hampshire, and Dorset areas.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and emergency ambulatory equine work
  • Triage and collaborate with in-house specialists to diagnose and manage complex cases requiring hospitalization
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and vets through excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Participate in on-call duties, including ambulatory calls and receiving/triaging hospital cases
  • Support the development of our team through sharing knowledge and expertise

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine and be a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS)
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and team members
  • Possess a full UK driver's license
