Job Title: Field Forklift Engineer

At Briggs Equipment, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Forklift Engineer to join our team. As a Field Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial, agricultural, and warehousing trucks and ancillary equipment, ensuring maximum profitability and return.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a professional, efficient, and responsive service support to customers by maintaining and repairing materials handling equipment to the highest standard while observing Health and Safety regulations at all times.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork required within the role, including servicing sheets, breakdown reports, accident reports, timesheets, and quotes.
  • Work closely with the sales team, informing them of any potential leads and participating in site surveys and site meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer.
  • Proficiency in reading both electrical and IC truck wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to strip and reassemble a hydraulic valve bank, cylinder, and gear pumps.
