Ayrshire Independent Living Network invites applications from compassionate and skilled professionals to fill the position of Autism Support Worker. As a valued member of our team, you will provide vital support to a young adult with Autism, Learning Disability, ADHD, and Noonan's Syndrome.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centered support services to promote the individual's independence, self-esteem, and overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to help the individual build confidence and participate in community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of support sessions, goals, and progress.

Requirements:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: £12.00
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the individual's needs
  • Desirable skills: experience in the care sector and willingness to undertake training for the role.
