Job Title: Financial Oversight Specialist

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum

Job Description:

Main Duties:
  • To oversee the financial operations of the Trust and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • To manage the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • To develop and implement financial controls and procedures.
  • To source and manage grants received by the Trust.
  • To provide training and advice to Principals of the Trust's Academies and their budget holders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant accounting qualification or experience.
  • Extensive experience of operating accruals accounting systems.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong management skills and ability to be self-driven.
  • Evidence of suitability for working with children.
