Access Talent Group is seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative Transport consultancy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working within the transport industry, understanding client needs and delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise junior engineers, technicians, and/or graduates
  • Assist with training, undertake Quality Assurance, and coordinate workload
  • Design and implement traffic and parking schemes in line with legislation and guidance
  • Effectively manage projects to time and budget
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including public, local stakeholders, and client officers
  • Utilize parking-related tools, such as Parkmap and Signplot
  • Ensure project files are up to date and comply with QA system
  • Liaise with other staff on wider projects, assisting other disciplines
  • Respond to client and customer enquiries

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant Degree or HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Consideration given to significant relevant experience in lieu of specified education and professional qualification
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Sound understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles
  • Experience in active travel projects and highways-related AutoCAD design
  • Familiarity with TMA 2004, DMRB, MfS, and Traffic Signs Regulations and Manuals
