Senior/ Principal Transport Modeller

Location: Central London, UK

We are seeking a talented Traffic Modeller to play a key role in our growing traffic and transportation business.

The successful candidate will primarily lead the development of local and microsimulation traffic models, supported by the existing traffic modelling team, providing technical expertise within the team and contributing to the future growth of the business.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join an innovative business with a strong reputation for producing high-quality traffic modelling for various purposes.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of local and microsimulation traffic models, supporting the existing traffic modelling team, and contributing to the future growth of the business.

A competitive salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  1. A good skill level and experience of using LinSig and VISSIM microsimulation software.
  2. A good level of professional work experience, with London experience highly desirable.
  3. A good standard relevant degree, or a post-graduate qualification in transport planning or a suitable level of professional experience to demonstrate capability.
  4. A working knowledge of industry modelling guidance and an understanding of calibration and validation techniques.
  5. A high standard of numeracy.
  6. Good written and spoken English.
  7. Proficiency with MS Office software and Excel in particular.
