Financial Compliance Specialist

We are recruiting for a Financial Crime Officer to work for a leading financial services company based in the Maidstone area.
The role involves overseeing first-line defence activities and providing subject matter expertise when advising the business on day-to-day activities.
- Ensure suspicious activity reporting is dealt with/escalated.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Recommend enhancements to working practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee first line of defence activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on financial crime matters, enabling informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective controls.
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and manage complex financial crime queries.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- ICA AML qualification or equivalent.
