Job Title: Junior Software Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Software Developer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing Android applications using Java and XSLT, working closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Android applications using Java and XSLT
  • Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Design, implement, and test software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

Requirements:

  • 3 years UK residency for security check
  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree in BSc Computing Science, BSc Software Engineering, MSc Software Engineering, or similar
  • Some experience with Java, but more importantly, an excellent general understanding of programming concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
