Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Derbyshire. This exciting opportunity will enable you to drive the health and safety agenda across all areas of our business. Our company, located in Derbyshire, is a medium-sized building materials business with approximately 150 employees on site. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products while maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments, and implementing effective control measures to prevent accidents. Your expertise will also focus on developing and maintaining a strong health and safety culture within our organization.

This position involves working closely with our senior management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support our health and safety objectives. You will also have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and external partners to promote a shared commitment to health and safety.

To succeed in this role, you must hold a General NEBOSH Certificate or higher and have experience in Manufacturing, Building Materials, Construction, or Heavy Industry. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in educating and training employees on health and safety best practices.

The salary for this position is £55,000 per annum, which reflects your extensive experience and qualifications in the field.
