About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team at Cirencester Leisure Centre. As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme
  • Communicate with parents/guardians concerning their child's development and advise on progression through the programme
  • Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • Provide excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to work closely with customers
  • Deal with children and their parents in a professional and respectful manner
  • Hold a Level 2 swimming teaching qualification and undergo a DBS check

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a genuine desire to work with customers, and the ability to deal with children and their parents. You will also need to hold a Level 2 swimming teaching qualification and undergo a DBS check.
