About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team at Cirencester Leisure Centre. As a Swim Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
  • Communicate with children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
  • Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills, with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
  • Deal with children and their parents in a professional and respectful manner
  • Hold a Level 2 swimming teaching qualification and undergo regular training and development
  • Undergo a DBS check
